To get the most out of a picture, what surrounds it needs to be considered carefully. In various guises, a frame can contain, complement or simply let the image itself sing and the wrong choice of frame can ruin even the most beautiful picture.
As an artist, former framer and gilder, Peter is well versed in how to bring the best out in your art. He is happy to advise on all aspects of framing while on site and has close working relationships with a range of framing experts. From casting moulds and water gilding right the way through to stock and more affordable options, he can advise and suggest the appropriate framer accordingly.
It's our aim to make framing decisions simpler and take the work out of the whole process. To this end, we can take works away with us, acting as the middle man, discuss the best options with the framer, come back to you with some ideas and then once confirmed, take care of the collection and delivery until the newly framed pictures are safely back on your walls. If works are unusually fragile or large, then delivery will be arranged in conjunction with the framer.
We operate our framing service on a case by case basis. We will always be able to help in London and will happily discuss the options for frames needed elsewhere.
Aside from a standard handling fee, the cost is the same as if you'd contacted the framer directly.
The framers we use have been chosen because of their range of skills and price points.
Our picture framing service goes hand in hand with our hanging service and should be complementary to the overall process.
So long as I can fit your pictures in my vehicle, I will take your pictures to the framer and then deliver them back to you when framed.
